Experienced and dynamic RESORT OPERATIONS MANAGER required for our client, a stylish and eco-friendly resort, with 35 rooms, set amidst a tea and cardamom plantation, with many of nature’s many splendored charms. Situated along the Thekkady – Munnar road, in Kerala, the area is the world’s largest producer of premium quality cardamom.
Must exhibit exceptional capabilities to excel in delivering unmatched guest experiences while ensuring smooth and efficient operations. As a key leader, Resort Manager will work closely with department heads, interact with guests, and maintain the highest service standards.
Your Responsibilities will include and not limited to:
Ensure operational tasks are completed effectively with timely follow-ups.
Review monthly P&L and manage cost controls in key departments.
Chair Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and other key meetings.
Approve staffing schedules, requisitions, and ensure budget adherence.
Collaborate on annual budgets and long-term forecasts with the Directors.
Ideal candidate will be
Hotel Management Graduate.
At least 5 years of experience as a Resort Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably within a resort setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of operational, financial, and resource management in a resort setting.
Fluency in spoken and written English. Working knowledge of Malayalam must.
